some people like games where evryone starts out the same it itemditaes them to see level 200s waling around so having a p-wipe might bring in some new people since alot more are checkin us out since we are like ranked at 8

I think you over estimateing the number of new people who will magicly show up on the opening day of v4

well it seems to me that a lot of newb players are or will leave cause of the lack of help not everyone wanna sit there and teach them how to get good and how easy it is to level up so they think its hard after a while and leave but i have seen that when i help them they come back and the rush to be kage lmao anyone can be kage in leaf for some reason leaf members always leave and join akatsuki or try for sound more then 3/4 of leaf is now in sound not everyone wanna be kages and a pwipe mewans nothing i left the game for two days and kazuma was kage and at lvl 250 so newbs will have no chance anyway all the vets know how to level and they will they will always hold kage down newbs just need some help if you want them to play and people who are high lvls just need to take a one week break from killing people so that way they can get some understanding of the game but anyway i vote no on a pwipe

Almost everyone that says no is just wanting to maintain thier dominance over new players. Your all high lvl... wait no.. SOOO many players are high lvls, when v4 comes out... wheres the room for the new players that will join be? They'll see all these players that have been playing for a long time, become discouraged at thier very high advantage on the game, and leave. OH IDEA!!!! Whyyy dont, you just stop crying about having to start over... you guys have no idea how many times I've had to restart after kiries server shut down. But one thing I have learned from all those restarts is that it gives all the noobs (even if they suck) a fighting chance at being the 'supreme'. And this sudden burst of competition promotes not only growth, but the wanting desire to STAY with NC.

I've been Kage in Leaf since I was 75-ish, and no, I haven't been training very much, so anybody could take it from me if they wanted to. I really don't care about whether or not the game does pwipe. Most of you probably consider me to be weak, but I don't really care. If it pwipes, fine. If not, then oh well. Although, I agree with most of the people before me who'd said that the ones who are all complaining about it just don't want to lose their advantage over everyone else. I think Kite is the only one who is 250+ and actually wants a pwipe.

Well, first off ive had my good char for like 2 weeks? it really doesnt take that long to get a good high level char, even for a newb. However it requires hard work, newbs getting discuraged is the most retarded thing ive ever heard, i would find the consept of random pwipes ever like month because people complain that the high levels are too good would just make playing seem like a complete waist. Somone can start off now and be in the runnings for top char in short periods of time, theres lots of intresting combos you can use to make new kinds of chars to best suite you and your training styles. Aside from that ive said about 6 million times now i plan to make a new character anyways for my main, but that doesnt mean people should be forced into one senario, let people choose if they want to keep there chars or not, forceing things for no reason is nevere the best solution.

i kno what ur talking about when u say thoes lvs can be achived in no time... but when u see v4 as the biggest update... dude u gotta be retarded not to see a reason.. i mean its not every 2 weeks we such a large update...(theres more i have to say but its not gonna get thru suedo's kiss ass head)

Thanks, Taro. No. Unfortunately, I couldn't make my own sigs if my life depended on it. All three of them were made by friends of mine. The Ukitake sig and avatar by one person, and the Naruto and Neji sigs by another. I'd like to learn, but I'd probably get bored of it faster than I'd be able to learn how. If you want, I could request one for you. Just give me the info you want, and I'll ask one of them the next time I see them online. Unless you want their email addresses, so you can ask them yourself.

No, i dont think YOU understand. You seem to have this gaint misconseption that whenever a majior update in a game occurs theres suppose to be some kind of pwipe, well guess what, there ISN'T. The entire purpose of a pwipe is to restart things because the old files either no longer work or are in someway mispowered due to old systems. Pwipes are somthing that simply put, are not needed when the updates are coded well.

There is no physical codeing flaw that requires a pwipe to help fix or compansate for, so thus, theres no good reason for a pwipe.

Ok then sue, you say these new people will become discouraged. Then this must mean that you've talk to some of the new people about it right? Who have you talked to? Give me some names, cause from what I've been listening to on the channels, alot of the new players are WANTING a pwipe for v4. I'll be redundant... seems only the high lvl players don't want the pwipe... I wonder why.

well, i would something say to the guys who think to pwipe...get over it! somebody says:Oh the high level players are only not agreed with it.. if u are low level, thats ur problem...The point is:The high level people trained much and hard to get this far...So No Pwipe! train so hard like we! One point more: i think many of the high level people will join the new clans also..but its good when the charakters will stay!!!

well ya... but then the sames kages will be there and there wont be much change....

Note: In v.2, i've done almost pwipe every 1~2 months because that was when i was developing the training we have now. (which is much more balanced than wat was back then)

Also, in v.1~v.2, the training system was VERY abusable, which eventually tracked down and adjusted.

My point here is, evertime we do pwipes, about 50% of the players leave and about 20% new players start playing and remember, i have to make sure majority of the people's needs are met.

The reason most of the v.1~v.2 players arent playing NC RIGHT NOW are because they were sick and tired of pwipes; but of coarse, sacrifices were needed for NC to be here today.

Overall, people HATE pwipes; there is no doubt about it.

Also, in v.4 the game's "ceiling" will be around level 400~450ish (which right now, is lvl 300~320ish --> this is where people feel that they've done everything they can with their character) so, for those who have 250+ characters, there will be more things to look forward to.

*There is no point in debating this, there wont be a pwipe.

Emerald, having same kages isnt a big problem, you can challenge em anytimee u want and take it away. Level difference? Theoretically, it is possible to overcome a difference of 100 levels if both of the fighters are 200+

I stand as a neutral bystander... From what i have read it is agreed that a P-wipe is a double edged sword. For now there is no further argument for it. If you dont like not having a pwipe then dont play. If you like not having a pwipe then keep playing. Only time will tell what the results will be. So Stego, pray for the best is the most you can do.
