Ok this has been bugging me for a while now, wtf is this stuff about stat caps on different ranks? I keep hearing lots of people talk about how there trainign slows down so much because of caps... but ive NEVER run into one Oo
My stats on all my chars have always increased the same amount no matter what rank i am, hell on my cloud nin i went from chuunin to kage, and i havnt seen a singal difference.
I always get 1 tai and 2-7 stam with ever weight boost... ive never gotten anything different. I just want to know if theres any merit to these stat cap rumors or not. Preferable from a gm btw, i dont want the same 3 people all spamming this forum who talk about it in the game... id like a more offical statment -_-;
Ok, there is a rank stat cap you are just understanding it a bit wrong. Ok the genin cap is about 2.5k-3k a stat now say u are a genin and havnt got chuunin and you have a stat a 2.5k well then the training of that stat slows way down. You might of just got chuunin and the other ranks at lowwer lvls so you didnt reach the stat cap.
I had about 4.5k stam and 5k nin on my first char when i passed the chuunin exam, and i never saw a difference in training from then and any other time... but..
A) Are there caps on any other ranks?
B) Why the hell are there caps? caps on things just make games less fun and take away from the freedom of chooseing your own way to play.

And wouldnt that just provoke more kages to make noobs into the highest rank, kinda makes the other ones useless <,<
Secondly, there is no power boost in the anime that seperates genins from jouninsOo Useualy they follow there rankings just because most ninja ahear to the proper order of things, however not every one does or did. Like kabuto is increadibly strong for his age, and hes techniquly still a genin.
You Rank shouldn't effect your ability to train, perhaps you should just make it so missions require all the members of your team to be the min rank, instead of just the leader. That way theres still a lrge advantage to ranking up, however if you wish you can still choose not to.
Yeah, actually Sue, I only know of a few good kages, good as in they can maintain there village, know when to give higher ranks (not just handing them out) and such. When I was a Kage I LOVED to make tests and restrictions for certain ranks XD (Fav test for ANBU is an asasination test lol) Zeff, when he was Kage, loved to send the people out who wanted to be ANBU, on a mission to kill Kyuubi X) Well, I wontgive the real reason for this, but it was more of a test to see how well they work with there team mates ;)
