Stego, could this be an error in the save coding some how? We'ved had alot of bugs recently... and I believe there coming from bugged saves. Often time, when looking at some player save coding, I find that 2 BYOND keys have 'merged' int he coding. Say it were my file (Taronako.sav) and I opened it as a txt, I'd find near the bottom a coding with would incribe that of another BYOND key, like "Maximillion" or w/e.

ill look into that. It might be something to do with the squad system. Ill fix it.
Edit: I got another question for you: When i open a filee with .txt, its all weird characters. is there a way to convert those characters to readable language?
All my knowledge on converting saves to txt format comes from playing around with it. Sora and I often messed around with Txt files to find out wierd things and such. But to my experience no. My best guess is that those are operations done by BYOND itself perhaps? Best advice is to play around with it, maybe delete those obscene characters and see if the character still works? *shrugs* =D lol

1)It comes from manual edits... such as taking the file, converting it to txt format, and screwing with it.
2)Faulty coding ( No offense Stego XD ) Even the smallest mistakes can lead to a big uprising in coding.
The new version that cae out had hardly any buigs at first... this is what fuels my first 'theory'... Say a minor bug popped up... liiiike... uhm ok... the new version didn't have the 'puppet bug' quit fixed yet. Stego promptly fixed this... however... Before this happened, some players (high lvl ones) that were effected and permanently glitched by it were edited back to there restored condition by manual txt converting. Even the slightest mistake in this porccess can cause and error, and who knows how the error will act? It could spread from save file to save file (highly unlikely though, unless done through a jutsu perhaps) Or it could simply just bug that character more. Its hard to tell. So thats what fuels my first one
The second theory just comes from multiple thoughts running through my head. Nothing very organized enough to write down.

Majority of the problems probably comes from the coding which i didn't code the "base" of the game. I used the NSB base coding to start off which was a HORRIBLE coding but back then, i was feeling too lazy.
As you guys can see, NC is the ONLY game (made by Stego) that has these consecutive problems.
This was why i was thinking of recoding the whole game into my style but oh well...
Anyways, yeah, ill try to fix most of the bugs, and the puppet thing? Ill look over it once again.
Guys, DO NOT mess around with the player files when v.3.8 is released. it only increases the problem!
