How is this site still up?

Yeah I know, years later still coming in to check on this site, just because.

I've always wondered how this forum stays up. I thought you have to pay the company you bought the domain up for the site a fee of some sort monthly or annually.

But yeah anyways. I miss this game. I miss the community. Don't miss Kyoshi, he was a **** (in game and in real life). Had him on FB a while back and he still was a ****.

I feel V.4. killed this game. I just hope one day something like this comes to fruition and again.

I agree. To hell with Kyoshi, but I miss this game too and I miss all you guys too. I still check once in a blue moon to see if anyone tried hosting again. And it wasn't V4, it was Stego. Who was too lazy or too busy to mange his own game so he shut it down when it became a problem. I hope everyone is doing good too.

Nah this is a subdomain of activeboard.com . Despite being a programmer I admit I don't know much about networking yet, but I assume activeboard.com only pays for the servers to handle traffic to activeboard.com (and the subdomains), and for the activeboard.com domain name. I think if someone were to make a subdomain that nobody visits, its free (don't quote me on that though).

Also its still here cause I make sure to post some nonsense every year or so, hehe

Damn. People still posted on this. I'm 4 months late though. Anyway, I some how found my old Naruto Chronology host files in my old emails. My BYOND key name is Oleic (not Oleics), and the ones I used on NC was Hikosen and Shinowizz.

Anyway, if you want the host files to play on your own or to bring up and host a server (which I encourage), just email my personal email which I actively use pretty much everyday and have been for three years. I get all email notifications on my iPhone 5, so I encourage anyone who'd like the files. I would host myself but I'm at college and I haven't been able to figure out how to host here, despite the super high internet speed.

If it's possible, that'd be cool. But I think this game has run its course and most of us have moved on from what it was. 
We're all adults already and may not have the time to host or play this game. 

If there will be a full visual update and everything, which would take time and money to set up.

I'd be down for that.

 

I still miss this game, and the community that it fostered, but we've all moved past from highschool. 

If anyone wants to keep in touch and actually remembers me or any of us, reply back here and we could link up socials.
