Here i would like to interview the game's creator, Stego, and ask him some possibly wanted questions about him and his nearly one year old and still going strong game .
Q: What started you on the road of coding?
Q: Do you still have any loyal game players from when the game started, if yes then who?
Q: What was it like when you first started the game? finally, Q: How would you describe the games growth?
A: I started coding about 3 years ago at school (Computer Science). I joined Byond to play some Naruto games. When i learned that anyone can make games in Byond, i started coding and got interested. But of coarse, back then, i was overwhelmed to start a game so, a friend of mine gave me NSB source to start things off.
Q: Do you still have any loyal game players from when the game started, if yes then who?
A: Well, the definition of "loyal" is controversial. But if you mean those players who stuck around ever since the early developement of the game, it would be Errola13. There are others that's been playing since v.2 but there are too many of them to start naming them. The game has much changed but most of the Alpha~v.1 players have left NC due to various reason. (Hopefully some of them return for v.4 since it is the biggest update yet.)
Q: What was it like when you first started the game?
A: There were a lot of ups and downs of coarse. The game needed much modification and updates as i became better at programming. I never expected NC would be ever be popular as it is now. I actually expected it to die out eventually and hope that my second game will do better. The NC community was much smaller in pre-v.2 versions which allowed me to get more involved with the players.
Q: How would you describe the games growth?
A: Unbelievable. Now, that BusterCannon has given written permission of using NSB coding back almost 8 months ago, NC has no obsticles in its way now.
