I see you do not read the manga or havnt got'en far because sakura grows to pwn all femal ninja after time skip she is like a mini tsunade. But back to the topic it all depends on when they fight team gai. If they fought around chuunin time team gai if they fought after the time skip team kakashi would own team gai so bad.
