I think this is a fairly useful guide for newer players so I'm replying to this topic to a) bump it up and b) tell people how to use co-ords.
Using Co-ordinates
To use co-ordinates to get around, you first need to be able to see your co-ordinates. First go into the stats tab. At the very bottom is one called location, and it will read something like this:
Location: 129,99,1
The first co-ordinate is where you are horizontally. If you move left, the first value will decrease. If you move right, the first value will increase. So using the previous co-ordinates:
Normal: 129,99,1
Right 1 space: 130,99,1
Left 1 space: 128,99,1
The second co-ordinate is where you are vertically. If you move up, the value will increase, if you move down, it will decrease, so again using the previous co-ordinates:
Normal: 129,99,1
Up 1 space: 129,100,1
Down 1 space: 129,98,1
The final co-ordinate has no use at the minute, so you can ignore it, which is usually what most people do.
A note of warning however, do not try to use co-ordinates inside buildings. They are completely off, so if you want to tell someone your co-ordinates, leave the building, tell them those co-ordinates and just say you are inside the building. This should solve this problem.
Using this, you should hopefully be able to find your way around, although fences can be a bit annoying at times.
