Ok, Naras i recently fell in love with. With the proper amount of training of certain stats and you are unstoppable. Let's break down their jutsus first. Naras gain kage shibari at level 30. This right now is nothing special, at your level there's nothing you can really do out of this except for one which i'll tell you about when i talk about chunnins for this clan. Then at level 71 youll get your most infamous move, the neck bind. Neck binds damage is based off your gen and you can keep it up as long as you have enough charka. But be warned, if you dont have 4k more gen then they have tai your neck bind wont work and youll have to find another way to beat them. (ex. nara has 8k gn and the opponent has 4k tai) At level 136 youll get kage seken, another gen move, this one has the range of nemuihane and instead of putting them to sleep it inflicts some good damage if you can keep them init until it ends. Finally you get kage nui at 179. This jutsu shoots out a three pronged shadow that inflicts incredible damage to those in its path.
Ok for villages theres only 3 real choices.
Stone Nara- Stone gives good defense, thanks to the walls, and in the event your neck bind fails dango will do some good damage. Also ( this is a technique I used on straw once) You could use walls to trap your opponents, give them no place to run from your shadow (in straws case he once made a huge maze trying to avoid my shadow but thanks to careful planning he put himself into my shadow) This is probably the best choice for naras.
Cloud Nara- This combination is great. Not as good as Stone naras but this is the combination of the legendary nara {Shadow God}~Malphas, this was also the home of my first ever nara and my nara pwned. In the event that neck bind fails in this village youll have amazingly powerful ninjutsu to rely on such as the homing or futogoza.
Sand Nara- sand naras are an ok choice. Youll get a lot of fast moving jutsus and a few powerful ones. The main reason for coming sand is for the VS and Daitoppa. If your neck bind fails you can still keep a safe distance while firing these incredible jutsus.
The reason Stone nara is the best choice is because you wont have to train as many stats. The other two means youll have to train your nin to be high as well as your gen plus your stam tai and charka. Stone just needs your gen/charka and tai/stam, and since your tai and stam both are increased using the same methods its a lot easier than nin training.
As far as late game goes, you should never go for sound, I mean the extra stam and chakra increase is nice but your main concern is gen, you want your nara to be like mine once was (there was not a person in the game I couldnt bind) Akatsuki is definitely a good choice (especially for stone after you learned dango and before you learn doryuudan) I mean first off the stolen bijous either one is great, if you decided to go to a nin village then stolen kyuubi is awesome as a just in case, if not stolen shukkau will give even more gen to add to your bind. Also making bunshins, holding with shadow bind, and using exploding kage bunshins so they cant escape is awesome.
Also if you manage to make it to level 450, and you didnt join akatsuki missing nin or sound, join Nano, they have a jutsu that is an awesome gen based one really good choice
For bijuus you have2 choices Shukaku or Yamata. Raijuu is better stat wise then shukaku but shukakus UD is perfect for tight situations.
For chunnins naras have the best combination. Go chunnins any where from 30-71, before 71 you can use kage shibari and if they are in a strait line you can throw items such as kunai at them and kill them, and at 71 youll get neck bind its a win win combination here.
lol, your stopping your own shadow with Stone walls. and also it wastes chakra doing that too. You don't need ninjutsu if you know how to use NAra powers to it's full potential. Taijutsu/Genjutsu/Hp/Chakra should be enough if not just take off the taijutsu.

a few problems with what you say, 1 i never wasted chakra, i had high gen with yamata and if people have good chakra it wont be a waste, second the only time a nara needs to rely on nin/tai is when neck bind fails, of in Malphas's case he just didnt feel like using them, if your neck bind fails and all you did ws train gen then what? you cant expect to actually get people with kage seken, and kage nui is easy to avoid, as i said using their powers to the full potential dont mean much if your bind gets broken and you cant seem to hit with nui and seken, you need to have a back up move, i mean, i know you pretty much dedicated your entire NC career to playing as a Nara, but that doesnt mean that everything you say about them will be right
kageri was the greatest nara i knew. i mean zarcon raped, but if it wasn't for the fact that kageri got bugged and stego didn't reedit him he would've been the best..
using Ninjutsu/Taijutsu will be pointless for a Nara, A nara wouldn't really be called a Nara unless their using Nara Jutsus. So I hope you reconsider recreating this guide. I would probably make a better guide but then again I'd have to add all my strageties with Nara and why should I? All you lot need to do is to analyse how I fight and ta da you know how to fight like me.
look i completely agree with you, but my guides arent meant for people who know how to play, in 3.99, when it came to nara jutsus alone, i was the best, i mean i know you and Zarcon are alot better, but my point is that this guide is to help new people to the clan or help out people who just arent that good with them.
I could make a guide you would definately aprove of, but that would mean, like you said, posting some of my strategies, and why should i do that? This guide is only meant for the people who arent as good and wont put as much time and effort into their gen training and is designed to give them some back up ideas in the event their gen won't get the job done
I think the guide was fine... Very simple... Basic... And I agree with Orange on the whole "just for newbs" idealogy... I'm a newb and I think it's a great help... Keep it simple... Don't try to make me focus on everything... Mmkay...
Orange, whats the point of this guide?u didnt know much about nara's until u saw me owning dudes with itXD the only person fit to make a guide is kageri...he made one of the pwning combo's with them, but then there was zarcon,to me he was a weak nara, kageri was pretty strong but i couldnt think why he would make a Nara leaf -.-
As for me...i was blamed to making the worst combo but i still killed many ppl with my back up plan homing and futagoza, although i didnt train my gen after it reached 30k the nui jutsu was usefull against weak ppl.I got bored and kept training nin^_^
actually Malphas you werent any help at all with my nara, you'd ask me stats, i'd say them, you'd say go get this amount, and it would go back and forth like that, you didnt even teach my anything reall, Ter taught me the combos i know, and as far as my guide goes, this guide is good for the begining nara, even Kageri's only complaint was that HE wouldnt need nin or tai moves to win
Malphas the same hing goes for every other clan just train the stat you need most right? but i dont see you trash talkin any other guide for no apparent reason
Kyoshi....butt out ass,and orange,if i was to make a guide on naras, then every body would own...i dont like sharing my secrets with weak ppl, unless they r my personal friends XD
