I think you should add a new summon like the little pug that was on the television show. You could like summon it and set it to track someone down and start walking to their location or something and you could follow. Of course being a small little doggeh it'd have to have low stamina and low damage, but I'd think it'd be helpful and strategic. It could track player characters and non-player characters alike.
